) on the front of the monitor. For details, see Switching Input Signals. - This product provides a function that automatically recognizes the connector through which signals are input, and displays images on the screen accordingly. For details, see Auto Input Detection .
Share USB Devices Between Two PCs
USB devices such as a mouse and keyboard connected to the monitor can be switched between the two PCs.
Connection Example
Linking the Input Signal and USB Port
See USB Selection - DisplayPort / HDMI 1 / HDMI 2 to link the USB upstream port to the input signal.
Note
- In the Connection Example, set "DisplayPort" to "USB-B" in the "USB Selection" menu.
Switching USB Ports
Use either of the following methods to switch the USB upstream port.
In single window display
When you change the input signal, the USB upstream port switches automatically.
In PbyP display
Use either of the following methods to switch the USB upstream port.
- Switch USB ports with a Hotkey
- For details, see SnapSwitch - Double "Ctrl" / Double "Alt" / Double "Shift".
- Switch USB ports in the "PbyP Settings" menu

Using the Docking Station Function
This product is equipped with a LAN port and USB hub so that it can be used as a docking station. By connecting a USB-C cable, even notebook PCs or tablet devices without a built-in LAN port can use a high-speed and stable network connection of up to 2.5 Gbps (theoretical value). In addition, peripheral devices that support USB can be used, and smartphones can be charged.
- Connect a USB-C cable (CC150SS81G-5A or CC150SS81GW-5A).
- Connect the LAN cable to the monitor's LAN port.
- If necessary, connect a mouse, keyboard, or other device to the USB downstream port.
Attention
- This function may not work depending on the PC you are using, your OS, and your peripheral devices. Contact the manufacturer of each device for information about USB compatibility.
- If "Compatibility Mode" is set to "Off" and the monitor is powered off, the LAN port does not operate.
Note
- MAC address pass through is supported. For information about how to configure the settings, see Advanced Settings - MAC Address Pass Through. The MAC address can be found on the back of the monitor.
- USB 5Gbps is supported. When connecting to peripheral devices that support USB 5Gbps, high-speed data communication is possible.
- For USB-C connection, you can switch between display signal priority "USB 2.0Â (480Mbps)" and USB speed priority "USB 5Gbps" (see Signal Format - USB-C). The default setting is "USB 5Gbps" and the maximum USB transfer speed is 5 Gbps.
- For USB-B connection, the LAN port cannot be used.
The USB downstream port power supply specifications are as follows:
- The monitor is turned on, in standby mode, or is off and "Compatibility Mode" is set to "On"
- Among the three USB-A (USB 5Gbps) downstream ports located on the left side of the monitor, the bottom port (see illustration below) supplies power even when the PC and monitor are not connected via USB. The other downstream ports supply power only when the PC and monitor are connected via USB.

- The monitor is turned off and "Compatibility Mode" is set to "Off"
- The USB downstream ports do not supply power (connected devices will not operate).
Attention
- This function may not work depending on the PC you are using, your OS, and your peripheral devices. Contact the manufacturer of each device for information about USB compatibility.
