Features

Curved Monitor

This monitor is equipped with a curved LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 1600. Every corner of the big screen is easy to see, making it easier to focus on work.

Two Window Display

This monitor comes equipped with a PbyP (Picture by Picture) function that splits the screen left and right to display two input signals at the same time (see PbyP Settings).

Supports Video Display and Power Supply with a Single USB Type-C® (hereinafter USB-C®) Cable

This product is equipped with a USB-C connector and supports the transmission of video signals (DisplayPortâ„¢ Alt Mode) as well as power supply (USB Power Delivery).

It supplies a maximum of 94 W of power to a connected notebook PC when used as an external monitor.

Note

  • To display video signals, the connected device must support transmission of video signals (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
  • To use the charging function, the connected device must support device charging by using USB Power Delivery.
  • Power delivery of up to 94 W is possible only when using the following USB cables:
  • CC150SS81G-5A or CC150SS81GW-5A
  • CC100
  • Connected devices can be charged even when the monitor is in standby (power saving) mode.
  • When "Compatibility Mode" is set to "On," connected devices can be charged even when the power of the monitor is turned off (see Advanced Settings - Compatibility Mode).

Reduction of Power Consumption

This product is equipped with a function that automatically adjusts the screen brightness to reduce power consumption*1. Additionally, it has a function that displays real-time power consumption on the screen, allowing you to monitor changes in power usage based on the operating conditions (see Conserving Energy).

The "Screen InStyle" monitor control utility enables you to use the monitor more conveniently.

Docking Station Function

This product is equipped with a LAN port and USB hub so that it can be used as a docking station. By connecting a USB-C cable, even notebook PCs or tablet devices without a built-in LAN port can use a high-speed and stable network connection of up to 2.5 Gbps (theoretical value). You can also use USB-compatible peripheral devices and charge smartphones (see Using the Docking Station Function).

Function Switching / Adjustment Key Functions

By configuring the "SnapSwitch," you can use the hotkeys to do the following:

MAC Address Pass Through Function

This function temporarily replaces the monitor's MAC address with the PC's authenticated MAC address. You can use this feature without installing any special software.

Note

  • To use the MAC address passthrough function, the PC to be connected must support MAC address passthrough.
  • MAC address passthrough must be enabled in the settings on the PC.

Front

  1. Speakers

Outputs audio.

  1. Operation switches

Display menus. Operate the switches according to the operation guide (see Basic Operation of the Setting Menu).

  1. Power switch

Turns the power on or off.

  1. Power indicator

Indicates the operation status of the monitor.

White: Normal operation mode

Orange: Standby (Power saving) mode

Off: Main power / power off

  1. Ambient light sensor

Detects ambient brightness. If you use Auto EcoView, the screen brightness is automatically adjusted according to the ambient brightness (see Auto EcoView).

Back

  1. Handle

Handle used for carrying the product.

  1. Cable guide

Prevents the cable from coming loose.

  1. Power connector

Connects the power cord.

  1. Main power switch

Turns the main power on or off.

  1. Security lock slot

Complies with Kensington’s MicroSaver security system.

  1. Stand*1

Adjusts the height and angle (tilt and swivel) of the monitor.

  1. Cable holder

Holds the monitor cables.

  1. Lock button

Use this button to remove the monitor from the stand.

  1. Headphone jack

Connects to headphones.

  1. USB-C connector
    (downstream)

Connects to a peripheral USB device (see Using the Docking Station Function).

  1. USB-A connector
    (downstream)
  1. HDMI connector

Connects to a PC with HDMI signal output.

  1. DisplayPort connector

Connects to a PC with DisplayPort signal output.

  1. USB-C connector
    (upstream)

Connects to a PC with USB-C signal output. This also transmits the USB signal that is necessary for using software that requires a USB connection or the docking station function (see Using the Docking Station Function).

  1. USB-B connector
    (upstream)

Connects using a USB cable when using software that requires a USB connection.

  1. LAN port

Connects to a network hub or router with a LAN cable in order to use the network connection of the docking station function (see Using the Docking Station Function).

  1. A separate stand (or monitor arm) can be attached to this product by removing the stand.
